The former stone font consists of a plain, roughly hemispherical basin raised on a cylindrical stem and a round-to-square lower base that has been partly buried in the ground; no cover present. The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_ROBREDO_DE_ZAMANZAS.pdf] [accessed 3 December 2025]dates the now abandoned church in the late-12th century but the font itself, located in the sacristy added by the north wall, as being of a much later date: "un edificio románico, obra probablemente de la segunda mitad del siglo XII [...] en el norte, donde se adosó una hoy también arruinada sacristía. En ésta se conserva un sencillo ejemplar de pila bautismal de copa semiesférica, aunque su talla a trinchante revela una tardía
cronología." NB: since, as noted in the Enciclopedia (ibid.), the nave underwent a major rebuilding in the 16th century ["La nave, que seguirá la traza de la románica, fue totalmente renovada probablemente en el siglo XVI"] it would be quite possible that the present font was introduced at the time.
