An undated B&W photograph by Gerda Boëthius in the Kulturmiljöbild, Riksantikvarieämbetet [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Stora_Tuna_kyrka_-_KMB_-_16000200009543.jpg] [accessed 6 October 2020] notes and illustrates the lower base of a baptismal font: "Dopfuntsfot, gotländskt kalksten från 1200-talets slut eller 1300-talets början"; the object is circular and has the usual splaying of font bases of the period and made of Gotland limestone; it does not show a drain hole, which probably means that the original font did not have one either. [NB: we have no information on the present [2020] whereabouts of this object -- Gerda Boëthius (1890-1961) was an art historian and professor of art history in the universities of Uppsala and Stockholm]
