The present baptismal font dates from 1569, in the Renaissance style; it consists of a roughly hemisphericak basin with a moulding at the upper rim and a crenellated scotia below; there may have been an anchoring on one the rim sides where it has been repaired with a new-stone insert clearly visible in a photograph [cf. ImagesArea]; the basin and underbowl are decorated with a pattern of concave ribbing with inserts lower down; four scroll ribs around a central pivot make up the stem; the lower base is square with side mouldings. No cover present. [NB: we have no information on the font of the earlier medieval church [13th?] here].
