Noted and illustrated in Blomqvist (1929) as a baptismal font of the "Nöttjagruppen". Inventoried and illustrated in Norg (2002) as a font in the "Nöttjagruppen" made of granite ca. 1250. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 910617F4] with mention of Blomqvist attribution; the SHN further notes that it is akin to the "gotländska ciboriegruppen" but made of differemt material, granit. The font is indeed very much in the style of the Gotland export fonts of the late-13th century, but, as indicated in the SHM, they are usually not made of granite; another difference with that group of fonts is that this one has an additional roll moulding on the lower base, all of which suggesting it may have been a local imitation of the Gotland font style. No cover present.
