Baptismal font consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin, plain but for a roll moulding at the bottom of the underbowl, where it meets the cylindrical pedestal base; the lower base is round at the top with a roll moulding, then becomes square with ball motifs at the four corners, the sides themselves have semi-circular indents, two per side, some of them filled with a palmette motif. The wooden font cover is round, flat and plain, modern, but there are two old metal staples at opposite ends in the upper rim. Is the font of the date of the church [13thC?] altered with re-tooling or re-carving, or a composite object?
