Noted in Hallbäck (1963). Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920701F5] as a baptismal font made of sandstone by Alexander ca. 1200; the SHM entry gives the transcription of the Latin inscription that inlcudes the name of the maker on it [cf. Inscription field]. The font consists of a roughly hemispherical basin devorated with a band of round arch-heads that have trefoiled motifs instead of supports; above this band is an inscription with the name of the maker, Alexander [cf. Inscriptions field]; there appears to be a moulding that is part of the underbowl, not the base; the base is the style of the 'mussel' font bases, a plain pedestal, round in shape, gently splaying towards the bottom. No cover present.
