The bucket-shaped vessel has two bands of decoration, top and middle, while the lower third is blank; the top is a blind arcade of round arches supported on columns with capitals; the middle band has intersecting arch-heads all around. There is no cover present nut there is a metal staple left in the upper rim, and evicence of damage at the opposite end of the rim, both probably related to an earlier cover.
