Noted in Hallbäck (1966) as a baptismal font made of sandstone ca. 1200; the roughly cylindrical basin is raised on an up-turned hemispherical base that may have been itself originally the basin of another font. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920606F2] as a baptismal font made of sandstone ca. 1200. The SHN entry cites Hallbäck [cf. supra] but does not mention the composite nature of this font. The font at Hössna, in the same municipality is also made up of twoo basins, one now serving as base.
