Hallbäck (1966) reports a baptismal font made of sandstone in the 12th century, somewhat comparable to the one at the church of Molla, with a cylindrical basin decorated with animals and a plain underbowl chamfer; centre drain; round base decorated with beads and a rope moulding. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920615F2] as a baptismal font made of sandstone in the 13th century by a provincial mason; the SHN entry points out the font is very weathered and cracked, cites Hallbäck [cf. supra] as source, and describes a pair of lions appearing to be shaking paws [="två lejon som skakar tass"]. The base seems to have a moulding with a groove, then a scotia followed down by a thick roll moulding and a rope moulding at the very bottom. The carving of the basin motifs is almost comic-like, very crudely done. No cover present.
