Noted and illustrated in Hallbäck (1959) as a composite baptismal font consisting of a roughly cylindrical basin of reddish sandstone incorporating a short shaft as part of this block; decorated with single groove all around; no drain; the basin is raised on an unrelated round pedestal base of soapstone with a circular lower base decorated with three concentric saw-toothed circles. Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 950817F1] as a baptimal font with the stone characterics already noted in Hallbäck above; the SHM entry describes the base as belonging to the Dalslandsgruppen fonts, and confirming that the font is a composite of two unrelated fonts. No cover present.
