There are now [August 2020] two baptismal fonts in this church; the later one, located in the Mariakoret is a 17th-century coloured marble font consisting of a smalish hemispherical basin with a Swedish inscription below the upper rim, all around [NB; the inscription -transcription not available- may contain the date and name of the donor]; the pedestal base has multiple mouldings, the lower half decorated with gold drapery on a dark blue background; the bottom of the lower base is damaged. The evenemangs guiden [https://uppsala.com/balinge-kyrka] [accessd 16 August 2020] informs this font was donated in 1683 by Matthias Edenberg of Kiplingeberg. No cover present. [cf.
