Scene Description: This is probably the side of the font facing northeast; the broad rounded ribs alternate with squarish flat ribs, some of which have actually been carved as faces or heads.

Baptismal font stone located in the southwest corner of the nave; the basin is roughly hemispherical in shape but with several [eight?] broad convex ribs and square protrusions [also eight?] between them; three (?) of the protrussions are actually carved heads, human and/or humanoid; it is raised on short cylindical stem and a round-to-square lower base decorated with scallops of seni-circles on the sides, and with motifs in the corners; these 'motifs' appear to be badly damaged and hard to identify from our sources; one of them might be a human face, others floral or foliage, perhaps. The present wooden cover is round, flat and plain, and appears to be modern.
