This holy-water stoup, like the baptismal font in the same church [cf. BSI entry for Otero de Vizbayo No. 1] which it resembles, is a work of crude workmanship; it shares its general shape with the font: a roughly-hemispherical basin decorated with a ribbed pattern all around, raised on a square pedestal base; the inner basin of the stoup is shallower and has no drain hole.
