Noted and illustrated in Fischer (1918). Noted in Hallbäck (1971). Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920516F1] as a Skaragruppen baptismal font made of sandstone in the late 12th century, a broken up font that has been cemented together. This font appears to have been disused since at least the introduction of the new wooden font of 1698; in some early sources [cf. ImagesArea] it is reported disused, and, at least for a time, kept outside, in the chuchyard. [cf. BSI entry Bjorsater No. 2 for the wooden 1698 font in use in this church].
