The number of medieval baptismal fonts stored and displayed in this church during the years it served as local museum of the Västergötlands fornminnesförening, since its decommissioning until its return to parish church, are documented in the VF's Tidskrift, Volume 4, 1888: 27-31. The fonts otiginally from other churches were returned to the churches themselves or transferred to the provincial museum depending on the circumstances [e.g.: some of the churches had disappeared], with the exception of Edåsa's own font, which was retained in the reinstated parish church: it consists of a plain roughly cylindrical basin with plain rounded underbowl, raised on a round pedestal base, conical in shape with a broad roll moulding at the upper end. No cover present.
