Emil Hildebrand's Antiqvarisk tidskrift för Sverige, (vols. 3-4, 3rd part:, 1870 119) reports a plain basin here [= "En simpel dopfuntsskål"]. In Hallbäck (1971) as a baptismal font of the Sienegruppen. Catharina Henriksson's FU Grolanda kyrka Grolanda socken, Falköpings kommun (Västergötlands museum Arkeologisk rapport 2014:13, p. 7) reports the font here after Hallbäck: "Ytterligare en medeltida inventarie finns i kyrkan, en dopfunt. Den tillhör enligt Sven Axel Hallbäck den så kallade Sienegruppen. Han daterar dessa till slutet av 1100-talet och fram till 1200-talets mitt". Early drawings and photographs show two basins in this church, one of which is reported as being from Skärvum kyrka; the two were combined into a single baptismal font, with the moulded basin from Skärvum serving as the base; the order was later reversed, and the font shows no [2010] with the moulded basin from Skärvum on top, and the other, the plain cylindrical basin, serving now as base [cf.
