Apparently the 1695 baptismal font is kept in the old church [Kyrkås gamla kyrka] only during the summer months, after which it is returned to the new church [Kyrkås nya krka]. The font appears to be made of wood and painted in black and gold; it consists of a hexagonal basin with mouldings all around, and a running inscription in gold lettering all around; twisted slender column as pedestal; hexagonal lower base similar in shape and size to the basin. Matching font cover.
