Noted and illustrated by Arantz Cuesta Ezeiza [www.guregipuzkoa.eus/wp-content/gallery/arantzacuestaezeiza/1144251.jpg] [accessed 10 June 2020] as a Romanesque baptismal font made of limestone in the 12th-13th century; it is located beneath the west gallery [="Pila bautismal realizada en cantería caliza. The dating in the source may be biased by the crude quality of the decorative work and the size of the object would be more fitting for a stoup than a medieval font; also, the basin and the base were probably not originally matched, making it look like a composite object.
