A B&W photograph taken in 1897 by Sanfrid Welin [1M16-A1962] in the VGM Collection of the Västergötlands museum shows a stone basin octagonal on the outside and apparently hexafoiled on the inside; the exterior is decorated with deeply-carved foliage motifs; in the photograph it stands on a rather amorphous stone base that may or may not be related to the basin. The photograph is labelled: "GUDHEMS SOCKEN. KLOSTERKYRKAN, UTTÖMNINGSSTEN". Another photograph in the same museum [https://digitaltmuseum.se/021017205666/gudhems-sn-vigvattenskal-175-tum-bred-backenet-12-tum] [accessed 11 September 2020] hast the caption: "Gudhems sn. Vigvattenskål 17,5 tum bred. bäckenet 12 tum" {NB: assuming these 'tum' are post-1863 and therefore equal to 2.96 cm per tum]. [NB: present whereabouts not available]
