Medieval font of sandstone described and illustrated by Erik Lundberg in Roosval (1917), where the four heads of the base are identified as 1)lion, 2-3)"trollhuvud", 4)man. In Tynell (1917). This font is noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 910325F2] as a "Mårtensgruppen" font made of sandstone in the late-12th century, the basin sides decorated with palmette motifs, the base with four human, but rather grotesque, heads set at 90-degree angles on the base. The font is in two parts and measures only 70 cm in height, which may suggest that a stem or plinth may have existed to raise it to a functional height. There are two fonts in this church now; the medieval font had been acquired by the Statens Historiska Museum, and replaced by a modern font; at a later date the medieval font was returned to the church, which now houses the two fonts.
