Noted in Reutersvärd (1967). Noted and illustrated in the SHM’s database Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920905F1] as a 'musselcuppstyp' baptismal font made of limestone in the late-12th century. Noted and illustrated in Ullén & Ljungstedt (2003) as a font in three parts, the hemispheric basin made of Gotland limestone and the stem and base of "ortocerkalksten", placed now at the west end of the nave of the modern church; this source points out two 7 cm indentations or notches ["hack"] at opposite sides of upper rim on the inner side. No cover present. There is also a mid-17th century font in this church.
