The entry for Landeryds Kyrka in the Östergötland Länsmuseum [http://www.landerydhbf.se/nya/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Landerydskyrka.pdf] [accessed 13 April 2020] reports three fonts in this church: one is the base of a Romanesque font; it is decorated with a ram head and three human heads said to have been made by a Gotland atelier working on the cathedral at Linköping; this fragment is documented as having served, together with the basin of a later font [cf. BSI entry for Landeryd No. 2] as the supporting base for the pulpit ca. 1900; the font parts were removed in 1953 when the pulpit was given a new base. Noted and illustrated in the SHM’s database Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 940720F3] as the surviving base of a "Calcariustyp" font made of limestone in the early-13th century. Noted and illustrated in Ullén & Ljungstedt (2003) where the stone is identified as "ortocerkalksten", and the four heads are noted: "På fotens övre del fyra utskjutande huvuden: en ung man med lockigt hår, en äldre man med skägg och slätkammat hår, ett skråpuksansikte, en vädur." The second font [cf. BSI entry for Landeryd No. 2] is a 14th-century font of stone. A still later font of hammered copper was made by Grönstrand of Linköping in 1695.
