The present font in the new church of Västra Ryd (Östergötland) is dated 1683 and, according to the Riksantikvarieämbetet, Informationsavdelningen, Bebyggelseregistret [http://www.bebyggelseregistret.raa.se/bbr2/byggnad/visaHistorik.raa?page=historik&visaHistorik=true&byggnadId=21400000134997] [accessed 4 April 2020] was made by the Silfverlings verkstad; it was acquired from the church at Vadstena.
