Church Notes: present church 16thC, built on the site of an earlier, probably 12thC, building, of which the tower remains
Bapyismal font of stone shaped like a large cauldron; it has a roll moulding at the upper rim, and a band of diamond pattern all around its middle; the basin rests directly on a circular plinth that appears to be partly buried into the later flooring. No cover present. The font is, with the tower, probably from the original 12th-century(?) church replaced by the present 16th-century building.
