Font Notes:
Noted and illustrated in Reutersvärd's Uppsvenska nodfuntar Ars Suetica 7 (1983): 359ff, as a "nodgruppen" baptismal font made of limestone in the 15th century. Ditto in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 940725F2]. Baptismal font consisting of a decagonal basin with rounded lower sides and underbowl, raised on a round pedestal base; the sides of the basin are decorated with vines and roundels inscribing varied patterns; there is a plain roll moulding at the bottom of the underbowl; the broad centre ring atop the base is decorated with a 3-strand braid, and the sides of the lower base are decorated with a vine forming circles. No cover present.
