Church Notes: 12th-13thC church enlarged late-18thC;
Noted in Hallbäck (1971). Baptismal font of sandstone listed and illustrated in Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920524F4] as a baptismal font made of sandstone ca. 1200. The font consists of a roughly hemispherical basin raised on a round base of similar but inverted shape; the basin is decorated with a roll moulding at the upper rim and saw-tooth pattern all around just below it; row of scallops on the underbowl; rope moulding at centre ring; arcade of round arches without support on the upper end of the round base. No cover present.
