The entry for this chapel in the Victoria County History (Hampshire, vol. 5, 1912) notes: "ST. JOHN'S CHAPEL, attached to St. John's Hospital [...] is of late 13th-century date"; no font mentioned in it. The entry for this chapel in Historic England [Listing NGR: SU4848629368] notes; "Chapel and lower part of St. John's rooms C13. Flint and stone. The ground floor of St. John's Rooms has C13 lancet window and was the original hall of the hospital"; it mentions no font in it either.
