The entry for this parish in Meyrick (1808) reports The font is octagonal, and placed on a round pillar". Lewis' Dictionary of 1849 notes: "The church, dedicated to St. Gwynin, is a small edifice, without either tower or spire, and possessing no architectural details of importance". The entry for this church in COFLEIN [https://coflein.gov.uk/en/site/400402/details/st-gwynins-church-llanwnnen] [accessed 18 January 2020] notes: "During the medieval period the church was a chapelry [...] The nave is thought to probably be twelfth century in date. The chancel is thought to have been rebuilt in the thirteenth-fourteenth century. A stoup is medieval in date"; no font mentioned in it. The entry for this church in British Listed buildings [https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300018071-church-of-st-lucia-and-st-gwynin-llanwnnen] [accessed 18 January 2020] reports a modern font in it: "1877 octagonal font, painted ashlar with quatrefoil panels., moulded shaft with angle beads and moulded base." Evans (1914) mentions no font in it.
