One of two granite baptismal fonts located in this church, both noted and illustrated in Alberto García Roldán's Galicia Pueblo a Pueblo [https://galiciapuebloapueblo.blogspot.com/2019/08/santa-baia-de-tines-vimianzo.html] [accessed 30 December 2019]; the older of the two consists of an irregular roughly hemispherical basin raised on a round pedestal base and a square lower base; the re is a worn moulding at the upper rim, and there are holes on the upper side that may be evidence of anchorings for an old cover. No cover present now.
