There are two entries for Catwick [variant spellings] in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/TA1345/catwick/] [accessed 1 November 2019] one of which reports a church in it. The entry for this parish in the Victoria County History (York East Riding, vol. 7, 2002) notes: "A church recorded at Catwick in 1086 belonged in moieties to Drew de Bevrère's undertenants and their successors. [...] The church of ST. MICHAEL, so called in 1555, [...] stands on elevated ground. A small stone figure, of the 11th century or early 12th and perhaps representing St. Michael, is set in the north wall of the chancel. [...] Except for the tower, the church was rebuilt in 1863"; no font mentioned in the VCH entry. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: TA1309245387] does not mention a font in it either.
