There are three entries for this Kexby [variante spellings] in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/SK8785/kexby/] [accessed 24 October 2019] none of which mentions cleric or church in it. The present font in this church is Victorian. [NB: although almost adjacent, Kexby is a separate village from Upton, but it appears to have been served by the same parish church, All Saints'].
