The present font in this church appears to be a composite object, a part of which, the lower base, may be medieval but not necessarily part of an earlier font; as it stands now ir consists of a square basin in which the underbowl is shaped like a cushion capital, raised on clustered columns and a square lower base. There is a brass font cover, the lower base fitted to the top of the basin, the upper a low dome.
