The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/LUGO_Amoexa.pdf] [accessed 1 August 2022] reports a former altar turned upside down and a depression for the holy water carved into it [="A los pies de la nave se conserva una pila de agua bendita que es un ara anepígrafa colocada en posición invertida y en la que se realizó un vaciado para permitir que funcionase como receptáculo de agua." Monolithic holy-water stoup of square shape; though much eroded, it shows several parallel mouldings around the basin sides. Noted and illustrated by Alberto García Roldán in Galicia Pueblo a Pueblo [https://galiciapuebloapueblo.blogspot.com/p/pilas-de-agua-bendita-y-bautismales.html] [accessed 6 October 2019]. [cf.
