Church Notes: church said to be 12th-13thC; is this the original font? the combination of concave-convex ribs appear to be somewhat later (14thC?)
Baptismal font consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin raised on a round pedestal base with a moulding at the lower end; the underbowl has a pattern of mixed concave and convex ribs all around; there is damage on the south (?) side of the upper rim, where the hardware of the cover lock was. The present cover, round, flat and plain is modern; appears to be made of white marble.
