The font [or stoup?] consists of a round slightly tapering basin with a round underbowl, raised on a circular pedestal base; the basin sides are framed by two thick rope mouldings of the type that imitate the Franciscan knotted cingulum, all around; on the front side is an oval cartouche with the head of Christ, in profile, bearded and with a rayed halo, with tiny cherubs and floral motifs all around; the background pattern on the basin sides is of diaper with floral motif inscribed, and it has cherub heads at regular intervals; there are several centre rings at the top of the pedestal base; the sides of the base has several angels and at least one other larger figure, perhaps Christ. No cover present.
