The present font consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a torus-scotia-torus moulding arrangent below the upper rim, followed down by a pattern of short diagonal ribs, and a pattern of wider ribs on the underbowl; on a round pedestal base decorated with parallel roll mouldings at the bottom; on a large circular plinth. No cover present but the obvios damage to the upper rim suggests there were metal staples in it for an old cover.
