Louredo nr. Masside No. 2

Baptismal font of granite consisting a a roughly hemispherical basin raised on a four sides pedestal base and a lower base of the same shape; not clear hown many blocks the font is made of, perhaps two or three; the basin has a broad moulding all around the basin side, now broken in several areas; on the front(?) the moulding arches over a standing human figure whose feet rest on the moulding located around the lower side of the basin, between two column like pipings; the wide pedestal base has geometric patterns of the sides; the lower base is also quadrangula but plain. No cover present. The font is now [2008] located outside, close to the church exterior. The parish priest noted to the 2008 photographer that it used te located inside the church in his memory [www.flickr.com/photos/freecat/2293193567] [accessed 8 September 2019]. [cf.
