Listed and illustrated in Palissy [ref.: PM65000389]: "Bénitier [granite] porté par deux personnages. [...] Studied and illustrated in Salvan-Guillotin (1996), as part of a group with those at the French parish churches of Saint-Savin-en-Lavedan, Pierrefitte-Nestalas and Ilhet, and makes reference to other stoups and fonts (Arles, Saint-Malo, Perros-Guirec, Fidenza, Torcello) that have similar atlante or 'strong man' motifs on them. Savan-Guillotin (ibid.), who gives a slightly different text for the inscription [cf. InscriptionArea] states that it suggests a date in the early-13th century, and gives E.R. (Paris, 1982, p. 98) as source(?).
