The present baptismal font in this church is noted and illustrated in BALaT KIK-IRPA [http://balat.kikirpa.be/object/24787] [accessed 20 May 2022]; it consists of a shallow round basin decorated with a torus-scotia combination all around, and a gadrooned pattern all around the underbowl; it is raised on five columns, a broad baluster-shaped central shaft and four slender colonnette at 90-degree angles, all with moulded capitals and bases, on a moulded cross-shaped lower base; the material appears to be a dark marble. Low-dome font cover made of brass with pine-cone finial.
A communication from Pol Herman to BSI (15 May 2022) notes: "Black limestone baroque baptismal font with brass lid [...] The font is not used anymore and serves as decoration in this tourist hotspot." [NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church here].
