The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: SK9857494696] notes: "Parish church. 1866 by James Fowler. [...] Although largely rebuilt in C19 the lower 2 stages of the tower are in coursed limestone rubble and appear to be in medieval masonry. [...] All the fittings are contemporary."
