The VCH entry includes some details of the Britwell Prior Chapel: "The medieval chapel at Britwell Prior (demolished in 1865) was a simple nave-and-chancel structure [...] The nave was apparently 12th-century [...] Later additions included two Perpendicular square-headed windows in the nave (probably 15th-century),a cupshaped octagonal font", but does not indicate when that font was introduced, nor if there was a font here originally.
