Baptismal font of stone [granite?] consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin on a short circular pedestal base; the almost vertical sides of the basin have a pattern of diagonal piping and the rounded underbowl is plain, as is the pedestal base. Although there is no cover present there are two metal staples at opposite ends of the upper rim from an old cover.
