The baptismal font in this church is an object of crude workmanship, consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin raised on a cylindrical pedestal base; one metal plug is discernible in the upper rim but there is n cover present. This font, which is said to have been originally from the church of the disappeared Benedictine monastery of San Martín de Soto, was probably broken up at some point, the fragments buried in the church grounds, as was usually the proper custom when they became disused, but was later put together again and restored to the present church.
