Church Notes: town given 1237 to the Hospitallers of St John; transferred to the Montesa Order in 1319; Iglesia Arciprestal (13th-18thC) and Iglesia de S Pedro (13th-18thC)
Baptismal font of tub shape, the only decoration on it is a torus-scotia combination at the upper rim; rests on a modern? / later? marble plinth; it appears to be a font of crude workmansip. Hard to date but perhaps from the early-Gothic church. No cover present.
