Scene Description: the stone font-like object standing in the yard of the castle interior was probably not a font, unless it was 'borrowed' from a nearby village [NB: the interior of the medieval castle was completely gutted and no font remains of the castral chapel]

Scene Description: The apse of the castral chapel is said to have been incorporated into this side of the castle; the present building is actually 14thC, with 15thC modifications built on an earlier fortress of the 12thC
