Scene Description: Source caption: "Iglesia de San Xurxo de Codeseda. La iglesia perteneció a un desaparecido monasterio de monjas benedictinas. Llamada antiguamente de Aguas Santas, había sido donada en el año 1124 por Don Alfonso VII a su leal caballero Murnio Pérez Tacón, quien a su vez las dono a las monjas. De su pasado románico tan solo conserva la cabecera."
