Church Notes: much of the original 816 Kanonissenstift monastery destroyed in 1327 fire but the main body of the church survived although the towers were destroyed. The female monastery continues to this day.
The present font replaces the one destroyed in a 1797 fire. [NB: we have no information on the font(s) of the previousiterations of the monastery church here]
