Baptismal font consisting of a 1485 hemispherical basin bearing the coat of arms of Hoya, and an inscription in Latin attributing the sponsorship of the work to Johann von Hoya and the date; the base is not the original but a later replacement. Wnedt's article informs tha the inscription on the font was transcribed and translated from the Latin original by Dr. Christine Wulf, of the Inschriftenkommission an der Akademie der Wissenschaften, Göttingen: "Tausend vierhundert achtundfünfzig Jahre hat mich Johann von Hoya aus seinen Gütern errichten lassen. Er hat sein Territorium ebenso glücklich regiert, wie er ein fähiger Haudegen war."
