Scene Description: Source caption: "The original church in Stubton was opposite Stubton Hall, however this more modern church, built in 1799, was built on a new site commonly known as Bemrose's Croft. The church is built in Gothic revival style in ashlar and blue lias, with slate roofs. The present church consists of a chancel, nave, pinnacled tower and vestry. The chancel was added in 1869."

The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: SK8747648779] notes: "Parish church. 1799, 1869. Gothic revival. [...] C19 octagonal font."
