There are two entries for Scredington in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/TF0940/scredington/] [accessed 7 January 2019] one of which reports a priest and a church in it. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: TF0960140403] notes: "Parish church. C15 and 1869. [...] Fittings are C19 including the plain circular tapering tub font." [NB: it is possible the plinth of the font is the original, but the font itself is modern].
